  4. Purposive Learning theory by Edward Tolman had contribute a great discovery in molding our cognition. According to him we uses our knowledge in our daily interaction and so we have already the so called schema, our stock knowledge.

  5. I noticed that those hamsters who are not hungry toke the wrong way, but the hungry one toke the right way because he sense that there is food waiting for him and so he follow the right track, just like us we find ways and use our instinct to get something or full fill something.

  6. In the most famous experiments, one group of rats was placed at random starting locations in a maze but the food was always in the same location. Another group of rats had the food placed in different locations which always required exactly the same pattern of turns from their starting location. The group that had the food in the same location performed much better than the other group, supposedly demonstrating that they had learned the location rather than a specific sequence of turns.

Tolman believed that reinforcement is not necessary for learning to occur. It is already in us. We have our own instinct and common sense.

  8. what I apprehend with this video is that, the two hamster were went down to the 5th arm very fast because they are hungry and they sense the food location in that arm which is the nearest to the food box and the other one was in the 4th arm, maybe that hamster was not that hungry or not wiser than the 2 hamster, while the one hamster was went down in the first arm maybe because that hamster was not hungry or was looking only for the way to get outside the maze box.. .that's all, , ,

  10. In this theory, I can say that a person is n0w using his mind in every decisions he/she makes. An individual thinks first before he/she acts. And he/she set his/her priorities.
